The Challenge: Cleaning Required Across the Flat and Cannot be Treated in Isolation
The check-out inventory revealed cleaning requirements across the entire flat, not just specific areas: kitchen appliances, bathrooms, flooring and carpet. The clean couldn’t be treated in isolation either: hallway wooden flooring had to be lifted and replaced, damp had damaged paintwork in one room, and the same underlying leak had caused damage in a neighbouring unit that needed making good at the same time. The landlord was not based in London. He was preparing a deposit claim and needed documented evidence for the deposit scheme.

We corrected the brief to a whole-property clean, completed the linked repair works, and compiled a full photographic and video record so the landlord could evidence a deposit claim.
